My Style

Your wedding day is one the best days of your life. It should all be about having fun. The more fun you and your guests have, the better the photos – it’s that simple.

I’m a documentary photographer who has been published in the national press and British Journal of Photography. My approach to photographing weddings is to let things happen naturally and record them in the most discreet way possible, so you can get on with the important bit – enjoying the day.

What I will do

  • Capture all the special moments, including those you don’t see
  • Create memorable, moving images of people having a great time
  • Blend into the background
  • Tell the story of your wedding day exactly as it happens
  • Help you out when you need a hand. I’m not so busy that I can’t open a door or carry a bag

What I won't do

  • Tell you where to go or what to do. It’s your day, not mine
  • Move you around like a mannequin
  • Tell you to recreate moments
  • Take you away from your guests for ages
  • Ask you to pose awkwardly, stare into each other’s eyes and quote lines from Romeo and Juliet
