What happens when a Manchester family photographer goes on holiday?
Trips away are a great opportunity to capture natural, unposed photos of you and your family having the time of their lives – somewhere hot, if you’re lucky.
I may be a Manchester family photographer, but my camera accompanies me everywhere, and a family trip to Vilanova i la Geltrú near Barcelona in Spain was no exception.
Four children, six adults, one swimming pool and a giant inflatable poo – what’s not to like…?
When people are having fun they don’t care about the camera, which suits my style of documentary photography to a tee.
Whether it was making obstacle courses in the garden, splashing around in the sea or eating their body weight in ice cream, the kids had an amazing time.
We even managed a couple of day trips to Barcelona and Sitges, complete with a mini train ride down the seafront.
Check out the pics – and if you’re looking for a family photographer who definitely doesn’t do posing and cheesy smiles, drop me a line.
